Neuperlach Clinic first became aware of FACT24 in 2001, from a press report describing the hospital alert system that automatically took over notification of key personnel at the touch of a button.

Using FACT24 Notification and Conferencing Service, Neuperlach Clinic (part of Städtisches Klinikum München GmbH) has been able to reduce the time required to launch an alert and deliver a status report to no more than 5 to 10 minutes; by comparison, other clinics need 40 to 90 minutes for the same procedure. The automatically generated status reports help the hospital’s responsible personnel to make timely decisions regarding the necessity of a second alarm. “We are well prepared for all major events” confirms Michael Els, safety engineer at Neuperlach Clinic, “from the FIFA World Cup 2006 to the Oktoberfest”.
