FACT24 in figures: Interim conclusion 2018

With the first half of 2018 over it’s a good time now to look back on the last few months. Doing so we discovered some exciting figures so we asked Dr. Jörg Rahmer, the F24 executive board spokesperson responsible for strategy, innovation and product management, for his assessment.

A FACT24 alert every three minutes

Jörg Rahmer: "This is, of course, a purely mathematical calculation, but it illustrates how intensively and how differently our customers use FACT24. Our customers actually activate alarms at all times of the day or night. The scenarios range from monitoring small incidents to comprehensive crisis situations - we are astonished and delighted to see how creative our customers are in using FACT24."

 

More than 1.5 million people were successfully alerted in the first half of 2018

Jörg Rahmer: "At first the figure seems very abstract. However, it illustrates really well that our customers work continuously and extensively with FACT24. It is one thing keeping people in the system, but it is another thing entirely having them use the system on a regular basis. In an emergency, it is crucial that the contact data in the system is up-to-date and that those responsible are efficient in handling it."

 

Telephone alerts in over 60 countries

Jörg Rahmer: "Our customers are working more and more internationally and the telephone remains an important means of communication, especially in times of crisis when things have to be done fast. Telephone conferences at the touch of a button are particularly valuable for many customers. This saves time and also avoids any confusion with dial-in information and the like".

 

The top alerting channels in the first half of the year

Jörg Rahmer: "SMS continues to be the most widely used alert method, but at the same time the use of Push notifications via the TrustCase App is increasing enormously. There are, of course, several reasons for this, but the ability to exchange information via the TrustCase app in virtual, secure rooms is a decisive advantage for our customers, especially compared to conventional messengers."
